Ten Photos – Along Millennium Bridge (Love Padlocks and St. Paul’s)

Helen Ogbourn Photography - Love Padlocks - LondonHello again :) I’ve been looking through my London trip photos this evening and thought I’d share some more of my pics from Millennium Bridge (where the ‘We are infinite’ photo below was taken).

My phone has been constantly pinging notifications to me since I posted that photo on Flickr yesterday…it’s received over 10,000 views so far, so thank you everyone who has visited and commented and welcome if it’s directed you to my blog for the first time today :)

I loved reading all of the love padlock messages, even though it meant kneeling in puddles to see under the railings :) I’ve no idea what the message on the 3rd lock below means so let me know if you can translate…I just like the little picture! I do like the ‘I love you…will you marry me’ lock, although I can’t find what I’ve done with my sharper version of it! It’s buried away in a huge library of photos to be edited in my Lightroom somewhere. For now this one will have to do!

Wow I’ve been over that bridge in March last year and haven’t seen the locks anywhere :( Maybe I was too busy facing a storm with snow, but… were they there? Can’t believe I missed those. Anyway, lovely photos and happy new year! :)

Hey Ioana, Happy new year! I think the locks are cleared periodically so it doesn’t get too cluttered which is a shame. I think i was lucky there were so many there :)

Thank you! Yes there are a few, although they get removed fairly frequently by all accounts. I wasn’t expecting to find so many but there were plenty dotted along the bridge!
